ACT Policing is renewing its call for information, witnesses and dash-cam footage of an alleged hit and run incident in Moncrieff last month after a 10-year-old boy was left with an injury to his right foot.

On 5 November around 5:20 pm, a vehicle – believed to be a blue 2016 Toyota Yaris – entered Rochelle Street from the roundabout off Slim Dusty Drive, and collided with a 10-year-old boy.

The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly, however it is believed the driver did not attempt to check the welfare of the child before leaving the area along Rochelle Street.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage of Rochelle Street or Slim Dusty Drive, Moncrieff between 5 pm and 5:30 pm, 5 November 2018.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444.
