Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Knox, Boots and Socks are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!

Dog of the week: Knox

Look at this gorgeous face and let us introduce you to Knox!

A happy, affectionate and friendly young man, patiently waiting to find the perfect family to call his own, Knox is a lovely-mannered dog who has found himself at the RSPCA due to a change in his owner’s circumstances and through no fault of his own.

Knox absolutely adores being around his family and would love to be the apple of your eye. He is a snuggle bug and would make the perfect companion for snuggling up after a long day when not playing or enjoying a nice walk with you.

If you are the adventurous type, then this boy’s for you. He will need regular daily exercise to ensure he is healthy and mentally stimulated.

Knox can be pretty selective about the canine companions that he meets, so we think he would prefer to be an only dog and selfishly enjoy all the attention. If you think Knox is a good match for you, come to the shelter to meet him today!

Boots

Boots is 1/2 of the story, bonded with a second cat (partner in crime), Socks. Photos: RSPCA ACT.

Cat of the Week: Boots (half of a bonded pair)

Surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of their own, Boots and Socks are a gorgeous pair of young adults looking to find their forever family together. They are incredibly sweet and oh-so-bonded, spending little time apart and a lot of time either sleeping, snuggling up or grooming each other.

Boots and Socks came to the shelter with extreme mats and required large grooming jobs and extra TLC from staff to get back to feeling (and looking) their best. Their new owners will need to be aware of and dedicated to daily brushing and regular grooming needs, especially for our friend Socks, who finds grooming a little bit harder due to his flat face.

Boots and Socks would do well in any calm home environment and would be especially suited to people or families who want relaxed companions. They will thrive in a home where they can become loving members of the family and will add a peaceful yet cuddly and bubbly aspect to your life.

Think they could be the right match for you? Come down to the shelter and meet them today!

Paw Note: Both previous pets from last week, Cotter & Daisy, are still on the lookout for their forever homes.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
