Meet our lovable pets of the week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Ninja the cat and Dawn the greyhound are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Cat of the week: Ninja
Ninja is a fun cat, full of energy, loves people and he’s chatty! He’ll greet you, maybe ask how your day is going and compliment you on your hair (if you understand cat, that is).
He’s a handsome ginger and white ragdoll who was afraid and shy when he first arrived at our shelter, but he’s a great example of how love and care can turn an introvert into a beautiful, social pet.
Ninja will scale any high cupboard or closet you own and observe from above with intense interest. He loves to snuggle, offer up chin ribs and head butts.
Ninja is on a special dietary food that helps him with a skin condition (nothing you can catch, just an irritation).
Dog of the Week: Dawn
To really get to know Dawn, you’ll need to visit her and have her meet you in our training yard. In her kennel, she’s quiet and withdrawn, but outdoors, she comes alive.
She’s such a happy soul, when she realises humans are there to play with her she becomes overjoyed, she does zoomies and you’ll fall in love with her.
She’ll get tired very quickly, as most greyhounds tend to do; that’s when you can pat her, cuddle and talk to her and really bond with her. She’s a big-hearted girl who, while needing a little guidance, will fast become an incredible pet.
Come and meet Dawn, ask to meet her in one of our yards. You’ll soon see how amazing and friendly she really is.
Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
