Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Sarge and Ozzie are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Dog of the week: Sarge
Sarge is an older boy with an adorable spirit and would dearly love to be rescued! He arrived at the RSPCA ACT in a dreadful state, with nearly every bone in his body visible.
He’s made a terrific recovery and is ready to join a loving family, ideally with older children (because he’s extremely friendly but would much prefer a pat and rub more than a bear hug). He’s lived with other dogs previously but might be better alone this time.
Sarge loves people. He has a cheeky grin and he’ll be quick to tell you if there are people around he hasn’t met before.
Sarge is too kind-hearted and people-orientated to be in a shelter but, unfortunately, he’s been here for more than 110 days. Spend some time with Sarge and you’ll love him, too!
Fowl of the Week: Ozzie
At the RSPCA ACT, we really do look after all animals, great and small! Introducing Ozzie, the fiery and incredibly friendly Brahma Rooster.
Ozzie was rescued originally with his sidekick Sharon but now rules the roost in his very own enclosure where he impresses people with his superb plumage.
He’s quite good with children, but as a pet, he’s generally not interested in what humans are doing. Of course, suburbia is no place for this feathered foghorn!
To adopt Ozzie, you’ll need a fox-proof run/coop and ideally other chickens for company. Come and meet Ozzie today!
Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
