Can anybody find me some puppy to love? Photos: RSPCA ACT.

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Bella and Hope are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Bella

Bella is a lovely 10-month-old puppy looking for that perfect new home. Could it be yours?

Bella is a delightful young girl who is eager to demonstrate how affectionate she is when she is comfortable with her people. Bella is easygoing and quite settled when she is left alone. She’s happy to relax while being distracted with a delicious snack or chew toy.

As a young girl, Bella hasn’t had as much training as older dogs. She knows how to sit, but there is still so much she can and is eager and willing to learn. Even though she is chilled out and relaxed when left alone, she does have an energetic side. She would benefit from a household willing to include her in daily activities.

Cat of the Week – Hope

Meet our darling girl Hope. She was adopted from RSPCA ACT as a kitten six years ago; sadly, she had to be surrendered to us as her family could no longer look after her.

Hope is a lovely girl who has not had a lot of interest at the shelter, which we found quite surprising. She is a strong-willed cat but also sweet and affectionate when she wants to be. She is extremely comfortable in her own company; however, she does enjoy being petted and loves to be brushed. However, she is also content with her own company, and quite happy to just keep an eye on you from her space.

She would be a great solo cat for anyone who is thinking about adopting a cat and would like a chilled out companion. She’s not fond of other animals, so she would need to be in a home of her own. She would be good in a household with older kids who are savvy with cats. We would recommend bringing the whole family in to meet her.

If you would like to meet sweet Hope, please come on down to the shelter and chat to the team.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
