Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Cookie & Henry and Dozer & Nala are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.
Cats of the Week – Cookie and Henry
Meet Cookie and Henry! This bonded pair are two older cats who have found their way to the shelter through no fault of their own. This duo is very attached to each other so are looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side.
While shy at first, with a little bit of time they will become relaxed, big smooch cats. Cookie and Henry are a little bit older, they don’t really enjoy being picked up but do adore having pats.
Henry will rub up against you to show you all his love, while Cookie will meow at you until she gets the attention she deserves.
Due to the pair being a little timid and sensitive, Cookie and Henry are looking for a quiet home, with a new family member who will be patient and gentle with them while they settle in. Cookie and Henry are on a special diet and Cookie does require some medication for her older age issues. Further information regarding her needs can be provided by our Cattery team.
Dogs of the Week – Dozer and Nala
Dozer and his best mate Nala are looking for a loving forever home where they can be together. Dozer is a gorgeous and handsome boy who loves people and gets on well with everyone he meets. Dozer is the ‘follower’ of the pair and likes to spend his time getting the tennis ball away from Nala.
This pair loves to snooze outside in the sun, just as much as they enjoy daily walks and playing with their people and each other. Nala is a sweet-hearted girl, who can be a little timid on first meeting. Bring out a tennis ball, however, and she will likely be your best friend! Nala loves to play ‘keep the tennis ball away from Dozer’.
Dozer and Nala are energetic dogs looking for families with older children. We recommend that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored. Dozer and Nala cannot wait to find their new forever home together. Make sure to book an appointment if you are interested in welcoming this duo!
Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
