Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Sabi and Addy are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Sabi

Sabi means ‘to know or understand’, which is very apt for this polite boy. Sabi is both enthusiastic and observant, and due to his Kelpie heritage, he is a highly intelligent dog.

He responds very well to both training and commands, which has come from his many years of experience being a good boy. He has all of the basics down pat and has no issues showing these off to you daily. Sabi will always greet you with a wagging tail and a silly smile, which perfectly sums up his happy personality and demeanour.

Besides adoring his human best friend (you), Sabi’s favourite pastime is playing with his toys, which he loves more than anything. This old boy is young at heart and, despite his declining youth, remains very playful and energetic.

The perfect match for Sabi would be an owner who can keep him entertained with both exercise and training, but also with love, food and loads of playtime. Sabi will love you with his whole heart and will make the most loyal best friend, so come into RSPCA ACT today to meet this beautiful boy!

Addy

Addy has gorgeous markings and striking eyes.

Cat of the Week – Addy

Lovely Addy was surrendered to the shelter not long ago as she had trouble settling in with another cat in the household. For this reason, Addy prefers to be the apple of your eye and would thrive in a home where she can be the centre of your world, pet-wise, of course.

Addy is an independent lady who values balance, and while enjoying her personal space and alone time, she also loves cuddles and affection. She particularly likes head and chin scratches and would make the perfect cat to be involved in all of your day-to-day goings on and as a lounge partner when unwinding after a long day.

While trying to maintain a very mature façade, Addy sometimes lets it slip that she can be very playful. Addy would love to go home to a loving and kind family where she can live out her happiest nine lives and have plenty of cuddles and occasional space to create the perfect balance.

Paw Note: Last week’s pets, Clayton and Peaches, are both still looking to be adopted into their new forever homes!

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
