Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week’s Pets of the Week are the lovely Kai and sweet cat Ginger Rogers, both looking to find a forever home.
Cat of the Week – Ginger Rogers
When Ginger Rogers arrived she was extremely matted, requiring a big haircut causing her to lose her gigantic mane. She was and is suffering from irritated skin, so her new family will need to be very patient and give her lots of TLC while she settles into a new home.
Ginger Rogers is a very sweet and affectionate lady who enjoys nothing more than spending time with our volunteers snuggled away. This lady would love to find a home with gentle, respectful children and would prefer not to live with any other pets.
Due to her pale complexion, Ginger Rogers requires an indoor-only life; however, some supervised access to the outdoors in a secure cat run or enclosed garden would make her happy.
As Ginger Rogers had matted fur for quite some time, it’s extremely important that she is brushed daily to keep her gorgeous mane in a healthy condition. This lovely lady needs a family that will cherish her every day, and accept all the love she has to give!
Dog of the Week – Kai
Meet Kai! He is one handsome and chunky boy who has a heart bursting with affection! This little guy really is the whole package and would make the perfect canine companion for someone with lots of love to share.
Kai is a friendly pup and gets along well with other dogs. Kai enjoys walking each day with our volunteers, as well as spending time out in the yard running around.
This boy loves a tennis ball but he hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back yet! He’ll still give it a good chase, though. When Kai isn’t out having the time of his life, you’ll often find him napping peacefully in his kennel.
Kai is looking for a family that is willing to give him all the attention he deserves.
Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
