Dog of the Week – Homer
Meet Homer! This handsome boy arrived at the shelter as a stray and is looking for a loving family to live with. Homer is a sweet boy who lacks confidence when it comes to new things and new people. He can take a little bit of time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is an absolute delight. Homer has likely missed out on some early socialisation experiences, so he often seeks reassurance from the people he trusts.
Homer loves to play games with a tennis ball and has good basic manners – he can sit and lay down. Homer is looking for trusting humans willing to invest time and effort into giving him everything he deserves.
Homer is looking for a quiet household with people who are home more often than not and can provide him with the love and trust he requires to flourish into a well-adjusted companion. Homer’s new home should have secure backyard fencing and no other pets to ensure he has a happy life.
Bianca, the bunny rabbit, is looking for a loving hutch to move into forever.
Rabbit of the Week – Bianca
Bianca, the bunny rabbit, is an easy-going bunny looking for a forever home to call her own. Bianca enjoys being around the company of people and will happily hop up to see what you have on offer and ask for a pat.
Bianca prefers to have all her feet on the floor but is okay being picked up by adults who know how to handle rabbits securely. Bianca would enjoy daily interaction with her people and lots of rabbit enrichment with leafy treats and toys. Bianca will love to have some hay to forage in and lots of exciting toys to play with.
Bianca will require a secure hutch as she has been known to dig her way out of previous enclosures. She can live with children who have a great understanding of how to be calm around her.
