Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Henry and Hunter are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.
Dog of the Week – Hunter
Meet Hunter! This goofy smile belongs to a big boofheaded boy who is super friendly and looking for forever love!
Hunter has struggled with anxiety here at the Shelter and is ready to move on out into a home with another friendly female dog to keep him company.
Hunter is a gentle boy, who can be boisterous at times. He’ll need a play mate to help him enjoy his day-to-day life. Hunter loves everyone and everything.
This darling guy enjoys his daily walks with our volunteers, he even knows how to walk beautifully on a lead. Hunter would love a home committed to daily exercise to ensure that he keeps mentally and physically well.
Hunter loves people, attention, pats, other dogs … he’s even friendly with cats on occasion! Our time with Hunter is always spent with lots of cuddles and treats.
This clever guy will sit down and pose for your perfect Instagram shot and will make the perfect dog for the perfect family. Visit him at our Weston Shelter!
Cat of the Week – Henry
Henry has been in our care for a few months and is ready to find a new forever home. This lovely boy is a shy and quiet cat. He loves to sit and laze about in his scratcher. Henry is looking for a peaceful home that will allow him to transition into home life slowly and at his own pace.
When Henry isn’t snuggled up in his scratcher, you’ll find him socialising with our volunteers and all the friendly faces that stop by to say hello!
This boy LOVES other cats, and would be best suited in a new home that will have a feline friend at the ready. Henry needs an indoors-only home with responsible adults who know how to respect his boundaries.
Henry’s foster family spent a lot of time giving this handsome boy some love. They asked us to share that while it did take him some time to get comfortable in his new abode, once comfortable he became the loveliest, snuggliest cat they had ever met!
From sleeping on the bed, to snuggling on the couch, Henry will make the perfect cuddle bug once he knows he’s arrived home!
Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
