Witnesses sought to hit-and-run in Monash

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of Barraclough Crescent and Ashley Drive, Monash, yesterday morning (Friday, 2 October).

About 1:40am, police received a report that a 28-year-old man had presented at The Canberra Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

It is believed that a vehicle has collided with the man around 12:10am yesterday, with the vehicle fleeing the scene. The man is unable to provide a description of the vehicle.

Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the 28-year-old man in this vicinity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
