Witnesses sought to road rage attack involving three vehicles

An investigation’s been launched into a road rage attack in which a man was assaulted on Belconnen Way.

The victim was travelling south on Gungahlin Drive in a white Holden Commodore sedan at about 9:20 pm on Wednesday, 28 September, along with an orange Commodore ute and a grey Toyota Hilux.

The people inside the orange ute began throwing things at the white sedan, indicating for the driver to pull over.

A short time later, all three vehicles pulled off Gungahlin Drive and onto Belconnen Way before stopping on the side of the road.

The driver of the grey Hilux then assaulted the driver of the white sedan.

Police have called for any witnesses of the assault, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of Gungahlin Drive or Belconnen Way around the time of the incident, to come forward.

With so many speed camera’s and vans and NO POLICE PATROLS on our roads, road rages know they can bash you and drive away and NEVER be caught…!

How will they bash you if you stay in your car? Sounds like there was instigation on both sides.
