Handsome Boss is waiting to find the one.
Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week, say hello to ladies man Boss and old soul bunnies Taffy and Maple.
Dog of the Week – Boss
Big boy Boss has it all. The handsome looks, the enthusiasm for life and a deep love for people, food and toys. This big sweet hearted boy has a good grasp on some basic doggy manners and would benefit from further training with his forever family.
Boss spends his day lazing about in one of our yards, enjoying the sun and playing with his toys. His favourite time of the day is out walking with our volunteers and running about in the yard. Boss thinks that he would make the perfect right-hand man for someone that likes to walk, play games and will generally love and admire him for the amazing dog he is.
Charming and a bit of a ladies’ man, Boss would be open to meeting a friendly female for company in his daily life. But would also happily be the only pet in your life.
Boss came to us after a change of his previous family’s circumstances, so is looking for a nice home with plenty of love to share.
We recommend Boss for a family with children 10 years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.

Sweet bunnies Maple and Taffy are looking to find a family to call their own.
Rabbits of the Week – Taffy and Maple
Meet Taffy and Maple! This lovely pair of rabbits was surrendered to the Shelter earlier this month and are looking to find their forever home. These little bunnies have experienced Shelter life before, and are definitely not excited about being back here.
These cuties are calm and generally quiet rabbits, hoping for a sensible home with plenty of space for them to do normal rabbit things like running around and free grazing.
This duo don’t mind a good pat, but prefer for their humans to be gentle and quiet in approaching them, and are not overly fond of being picked up.
Sweet Maple does have a spot of arthritis, but this never stops her from being her usual bunny self. You’ll often find Maple and Taffy nibbling away in their enclosure or running about in their tunnels.
If you’re looking for some older bunnies to join your loving family come and visit Taffy and Maple today!
Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston ACT 2611 and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
