Don’t you love the way certain straights use the word “curious”? It’s a bit like saying “I’m not gay, but…” No wonder the survey in 2003 showed that although only 2% of Australians identify as gay, 45% say they experience “some homosexual activity”.

Does anyone else find it odd that the couple need to import someone? The ad gives me the creeps. I have images of the person ending up stuck here, having their passport taken and being locked in that room where they are subjected to the couples’ “friends” on a regular basis. Wouldn’t be the first time that kind of thing had happened here.

So what do the children refer to the houseguest as? Is it the nanny or “mummy and daddy’s special friend”?

Photo looks kind of old too. Perhaps taken before she popped out 2 sprogs and settled down to a mediocre suburban life in Harrison. Surely it’s only fair to give interested parties an up to date look at the goods.

I’m a straight definitely uncurious bloke who loves all of lifes physical and other pleasures so I seem to fit at least some of the selection criteria for this gig. Not being female might be a bit of a hindrance, but they sound open minded so that shouldn’t be a show stopper. I’ll have to drop ’em a line…

I wonder how they would explain it to their two kids..

If I was a good looking female, I wouldn’t even bother. Clearly misleading! That room in the pic definitely isn’t king sized! I would also question the “young couple” with a photo that appears to be from a good 15+ years ago..
