Man arrested over 7-Eleven Fyshwick hold-up

7-Eleven Fyshwick
A 25-year-old Narrabundah man will face court today after an attempted aggravated robbery in Fyshwick yesterday afternoon.

About 1.30pm, police were called to the 7-Eleven in Fyshwick following reports of a man with a firearm making threatening demands.

On arrival, police identified a man matching the description provided to police, and drew their firearms as a precaution. The 25-year-old man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning for charges relating to possessing an offensive weapon with intent and attempted aggravated robbery.
