Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after ute crashes into tree

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he crashed his ute into a tree on Tuesday afternoon (8 January).

Around 1:40 pm, emergency services responded to reports that a white Holden Rodeo utility had crashed into a tree off the southbound lanes of the Tuggeranong Parkway.

A 55-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

ACT Policing said it is investigating the single-vehicle crash and are calling for witnesses or drivers with dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
