ACT Policing is seeking footage of an alleged assault so they can identify three females who assaulted and robbed a girl outside Westfield Belconnen last week.

About 2 pm on 2 October, four females were involved in an altercation near Cohen Street.

Police said the altercation resulted in a juvenile girl suffering facial injuries and considerable distress. A sum of cash was also stolen from the victim.

Police have released still images taken from mobile phone footage of the incident, and are seeking public assistance to identify three of the people shown in the images. It is believed that other people filmed this incident and police urge anyone with additional footage or information to come forward.

The first female had blonde hair and was wearing a black strapless top, black jeans and white Nike shoes. Police believe she may also have been involved in another incident in the City Bus Interchange later the same day.

The second female had long dark hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black top, black Nike pants and black shoes.

The third female had blonde hair and was wearing a white midriff top and black Adidas pants.

If you can identify any of the people in the images, or if you have any other information on this incident that could assist police, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
