A still of the Greenway ram raid shows the Hilux crashing through the front doors.

ACT Policing has released dramatic CCTV footage of two ram raids in Greenway and Weston early last Thursday.

The footage shows a dark coloured Toyota Hilux crashing through the front glass doors of the Repco store on Athllon Drive, Greenway, and smashing into the cashier’s counter, about 3:30 am.

A man is then seen loading something on to the back of the Hilux.

In the other ram-raid, a small hatchback/SUV vehicle is driven into the front entrance of Domino’s Pizza in Weston about 4:10 am and a man with a sledgehammer and crow bar kicks open the doors. He and his partner then help themselves to the till.

Police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked and are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage to assist them.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
