Recommendations for motorcycle service in Canberra

I’m also looking for a reliable mechanic for my K1100. A few years ago I tried The Car Care Centre and Eurotunes, each of these had my bike for 18 months and 2 years respectively. They would give it back telling me it was fixed, but it subsequently died. I ended up taking it to a guy in Geelong, yep 8 hours drive away… He actually fixed it. It’s inlet valve on no. 1 cylinder wasn’t closing. It also had a LOT of other issues which a mechanic should have picked up. I notice no-one has mentioned Rolfe?? I had a service done by them. I think it’s good, but it took all day when they said it would take 2 hours. They don’t ring me when they say they will, so I’m still looking…

I’ve been very happy with Dahlitz for my Kawasaki.

I’ve always found Dahlitz to be pretty good. Don’t know how well they know BMs though.

Bruces Motorcyles for older motorcycles of all makes

I used to take my old CBR1000 to Bruces. I thought they were OK too.
Also Eurotune no longer handles BMs

Anders at Eurotune is a BMW factory trained Master Technician. He defenitely handles BM’s! Just doesn’t sell them any more.
Trying to get a booking to have your bike looked at may be difficult as he spends more and more time on art these days.
