Moo’s a darling hoping to find a home & family to love.

Meet our lovable animals looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to our ‘Pets of the Week’ – The sad-eye sweetie, Moo and the human/cat hybrid, Banjo!

Dog of the Week – Moo

Dear Miss Moo has been with us for over a month now and while in our care, she has had to have several surgeries. Thankfully, that’s all in the past, and she’s well and truly on her way to good health!

Moo is an absolute sweetheart and with the saddest eyes. There’s no doubt that she deserves a special home with someone that will give her unlimited amounts of love. She is the sweetest and most tolerant lady and retains her lovely nature despite the fact that life hasn’t been kind.

Moo doesn’t need a lot. She would like to be an indoor dog and will need lots of love and cuddles and a short daily walk. She’s friendly to other dogs but is not really into playing rough and tumble games. A companion that would enjoy relaxing with her and naps would be ideal.

Is your heart big enough? Miss Moo’s heart indeed is! We recommend Miss Moo for a family with children eight years and older.

Cat of the Week – Banjo

Banjo is a friendly and confident little dude!

Meet Banjo!

Banjo is a happy and friendly little dude despite finding himself at the Shelter for a second time. The first time he arrived as a stray before he was adopted. Unfortunately, he was surrendered again through no fault of his own.

He’s a confident and handsome boy with gorgeous eyes. He loves to explore and see what everyone is doing; he wants to be part of the action and don’t even get us started on how affectionate and playful he is! Boy oh boy, does he enjoy the attention! Perhaps this is why he’s best suited to a home without another cat.

Banjo can become very overstimulated and somewhat cranky when sharing space with other cats. We think this may be because he sees himself as a human/cat hybrid!

Due to his pale sun-prone face and ears, he needs to be an indoor only cat (shaded purpose-built cat-run welcome of course!).

If you enjoy a cat that likes to play and purr – Banjo would be perfect! If you are ready to give him a great home, he would love to meet you!

Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston ACT 2611 and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
