They love tummy rubs, playing fetch and going for walks but Canberra’s rescue dogs are still trying to find the perfect family to call their own.
Canberra’s rescue kennels are full again and RSPCA ACT, who is “desperately” looking for loving families for their adult dogs, is dropping adoption prices to $99 for selected adult dogs starting this Saturday (14 July) till the following Saturday (21 July).
Executive manager of Animal Welfare, Jane Gregor, is hopeful that these adorable dogs would find their “happily ever after” homes soon.
“Our beautiful dogs desperately need homes. While we give them plenty of love and try to make the shelter as welcoming as possible, they know the difference between a shelter and a home,” Ms Gregor said.
“Hopefully, the discount is the incentive that people need to finally add the dog they’ve always wanted to their family.”
The shelter has a range of dogs, crossing their paws in the hope of finding their forever homes, with breeds ranging from Rhodesian ridgebacks, Staffordshire terriers, bull arabs, mastiffs and more!
