Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Champ and Zulejha are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.
Dog of the Week – Champ
Champ is a beautiful three-year-old Alaskan Malamute who is looking for a loving home to call his own. The whole team at the shelter can’t help but smile when they stop by to see him. He greets you joyfully at his kennel and is always happy when it’s time to play in the yards.
Champ would suit a household that is familiar with the needs of Arctic breed dogs. Champ will need regular walking and physical activity with someone comfortable walking a large dog. Champ will be a loving and loyal companion to someone who is home regularly, and with some positive guidance with departure training and dog greeting skills, he will become a valued member of your family.
Champ is looking forward to meeting his new family and joining you on your next adventure.
Cat of the Week – Zulejha
Meet Zulejha, a stunning Bengal cat with a beautiful leopard-like coat. She is a friendly cat who is quite affectionate and loving. She’s not one to shy away from pats and attention, though she likes her downtime too.
Typical of her breed, Zulejha is a very vocal girl. She has a lot to say and thoroughly enjoys a good conversation with you. She is also very active and would benefit from an owner who is willing to engage in playtime with her. She would thrive in a household with enough space to zoom around and explore.
She would be utterly delighted if she had a house with a yard and a secure cat run to explore, as she has thoroughly enjoyed spending days in the cat run at the shelter.
If you are interested in meeting Zulejha, please come on down and chat with our lovely staff.
Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
