Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
We have three pets this week to shout out including Hazel and Fae, two lovely brown bunnies and Jake, a smiley and goofy boy eager to give all his love.
Rabbit of the Week – Hazel & Fae
Hazel and Fae are two gorgeous brown bunnies that were surrendered to the Shelter when their owner was no longer able to care for them. These cute bunnies are now looking to find a forever home together! Hazel and Fae are two young sisters who have a very special bond with one another.
In their lives so far this dynamic duo haven’t had been handled often or had much interaction and would like to go to a home where they can be slowly offered a new way of life.
Hazel and Fae have taken some time to warm up to staff at the Shelter, and will need a quiet, rabbit savvy home where they will feel safe and loved. With plenty of patience and TLC these bunnies will settle in and become an important part of the family.
These bunnies will love a large enclosure with plenty of enrichment activities. Hazel and Fae are really liking their treats and toys in their current home and would love to receive the same enrichment in their next spot.

Handsome Jake is beaming and ready to find a family to call his own.
Dog of the Week – Jake
Smiley, cute and ready to find love, Jake is one sweet fellow who isn’t so sure about finding himself at the Shelter. This gorgeous boy is waiting in the wings until the perfect family comes his way.
Jake is certainly a darling boy. He loves to spend time with our staff and volunteers. His favourite part of the day is when he heads out on his daily walk with his tail wagging. Jake absolutely loves tasty treats and will display beautiful manners when offered a little snack.
On first approach, Jake can be a little cautious. He’ll need a little time to warm up to new people. But with a treat or two and a little love, you will certainly have his heart and attention for every day to come.
Jake will prefer to live a life by himself. He isn’t so sure of other dogs and would prefer to be the only pooch to share your love!
