Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Pippa and Amelia are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Pippa

Energetic Pippa is looking for her perfect family.

Pippa is the kind of girl who starts wagging her tail the moment she sees you. She is a sweet girl who would live happily as a solo dog; however, she would also live with another dog, as long as they give Pippa her own time and space to play.

She would settle into the home nicely, but Pippa has a lot of energy she’ll need to burn off. She would love to be with an active owner who would enjoy taking her for her daily walks and give her plenty of mental stimulation. This girl can go and go.

Pippa isn’t a super cuddly dog, but she does love the company of people. She would be the perfect companion for a family that’s home more often than not and can include her in their daily activities. If you’d like to meet this special girl, we know she’d love to meet you, too.

Amelia

Amelia is ready to find her home.

Cat of the Week – Amelia

Our little Miss Panda Ears is looking for her forever home. Amelia was adopted from us many years ago and was surrendered back to us recently.

Amelia is quite an independent girl. She is incredibly happy spending time on her own. But after a day chilling out at home alone, she will be more than ready for an evening of you and her time. She will be happy as a solo with someone who is looking for a companion to share their time with her.

You might be wondering about her panda ears. Unfortunately, Amelia was exposed to the sun in her previous life; as a result, she had to have small skin cancers removed. Due to her white colouring and previous cancer scare she needs to live as an indoor cat to keep her safe.

If you are someone who likes the quiet life after a day at work, Amelia would be the perfect companion for you.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
