Teen taken to hospital after aggravated assault and robbery in Gungahlin

A teenager has been robbed and assaulted by a group of people during the early hours of the morning in Gungahlin yesterday.

The boy was walking near the intersection of James Kirk Street and Gundaroo Drive at 12:10 am before allegedly being approached by a group of people who chased him.

He was then allegedly assaulted at the Nellie Hamilton roundabout and his belongings were stolen.

The teenager was taken to hospital after paramedics and police attended the scene.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage following the aggravated robbery.
