The Luton Ball kicks in $84k

Chief Minister Gallagher is letting the world know the big end of town have opened their wallets for the Canberra Hospital Foundation:

Chief Minister Katy Gallagher, has today accepted a cheque worth $84,000 for the Canberra Hospital Foundation raised at the recent Luton Charity Ball and will be used to help buy new medical equipment at the Canberra Hospital.

“The Canberra Hospital Foundation provides much needed funding for a range of different pieces of equipment at TCH and on behalf of the foundation and the patients who will benefit from the new equipment, I would like to thank Luton properties for their generous donation,” the Chief Minister said.

“The annual Luton Charity Ball is an example of the commitment of our community, local business and government working together to provide important additions to our health system and boost the comfort of those staying at the Canberra Hospital.”
