Police are calling for witnesses of an assault at a Braddon pub to come forward after a man was transported to hospital on Saturday night (17 August).
Around 10:20 pm, police were called to the Civic Pub on Lonsdale Street following reports of an assault. A 40-year-old man was treated by paramedics at the scene and was subsequently transported to hospital.
A number of witnesses are assisting police with their enquiries, but officers would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to police.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said police have not made any arrests at this time.
