Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week’s Pets of the Week are the absolutely adorable puppy Baby Spice and her bunny counterpart Peter.
Dog of the Week – Baby Spice
Are you ready to spice up your life? Because Baby Spice is waiting to find her forever home!
Sweet puppy Baby is a sweet and cuddly little pooch who spends her time giving slobbery puppy kisses to all! When she’s not out in the yard learning good doggy manners, you’ll often find her snuggled up with a volunteer in her kennel.
Baby will grow to be an energetic dog that up for any type of adventure you have in mind. As an adult, Baby will need regular daily exercise and plenty of enrichment to ensure she stays both mentally and physically healthy. This lovely girl will suit an active family ready to adventure on walks, hikes, bike riding and maybe even swimming!
Baby Spice is a curious young dog and continues to grow in confidence every day. This smart pooch has already figured out ‘sit’ and is a fast learner. She would love to continue training once she has been adopted to help her adjust to life outside of the Shelter.
Rabbit of the Week – Peter
Meet Peter! Yes, it is indeed Peter the rabbit. Cute and fluffy, this young boy found himself at the Shelter through no fault of his own and is now ready and bouncing to find his forever home.
Peter was described by his previous family as friendly, loving and gentle. Unfortunately, Peter did not get along with the other resident rabbit in the household. He’d prefer to be the only bunny in his new home, for now at least. In the future, Peter could potentially live with a calm, rabbit-friendly bunny.
This gorgeous rabbit could potentially live with sensible, older children; however, before adoption can take place, it is important for all children living in the household must come to the Shelter to meet him.
Peter will love to live with plenty of space, indoors or outdoors (maybe both), with room to explore. Rabbits like Peter need plenty of enrichment, love and care to ensure that they are comfortable, secure and content in the home. Peter will love the occasional treat of leafy lettuce and other wholesome snacks to keep his mind moving and to ensure he is mentally enriched in his day-to-day life.
Peter is ready to find his second chance!
