Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Indi and Buddha are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Cat of the Week – Indi

Sweet Indi was brought to the Shelter as a very scared but sweet young cat. Indi arrived as a stray in late February and is now waiting for a forever home to call her own. One that will understand her every need.

Indi has come to us from a known colony area, and while she has had plenty of social interactions with people, we don’t think they have always been positive. Indi has warmed up to staff at the Shelter, but she still has a long way to go on her forever journey.

Indi is looking for a cat-experienced home, one that is ready to allow her to take things at her own pace. Indi is truly a big smooch when she gets to know you and absolutely loves to receive pats when she’s comfortable. Indi will make a lovely companion for the right people who will shower her with patience, time and love.

Indi is waiting to find her forever home. She hopes her new family will walk through the door and take her home to the castle she will rule over.

Buddha

Strong Buddha is looking for a family with love to give! His ideal home will be with a strong individual ready to train and take him on adventures.

Dog of the Week – Buddha

Buddha is a simple dog. He is a big gentle giant and simply the biggest love bug we’ve ever known. Buddha hasn’t had the easiest start to life at the Shelter. He is extremely shy and needs plenty of time to warm up to new people.

With time, patience and love Buddha will grow to adore his special people and will always be up for a scratch. Maybe even a cuddle when he really knows you’re the one.

This young boy is about 18-months old. He’s big and strong and is looking for a similar special person that will be able to take him on and provide him with additional training and regular exercise. Boys like Buddha need to be kept mentally and physically healthy!

We think Buddha has lived as an outside dog for most of his life as he is uncomfortable underneath a roof. But with time and patience, we think he could make a loving couch buddy.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
