Police are calling for public assistance to identify three people allegedly involved in an incident near Floriade earlier this week.
A woman with anti-CCP (Chinese Communist Party) signage on her car claims she was attacked, and her vehicle damaged, by three people.
It’s alleged she was returning to her parked car in Acton near Corkhill Street on Tuesday (4 October) when she discovered three people spray-painting it.
The woman was allegedly assaulted and her phone smashed when she confronted the group.
Australian political activist and CCP critic Drew Pavlou Tweeted a video from before the alleged attack showing two men spray-painting a car.
He also Tweeted a photo which he claimed was of some of the woman’s injuries.

“Two pro-Beijing supporters in Canberra spray painted an elderly Australian-Chinese woman’s car because she had a sign criticising the Chinese Communist Party.
“They vandalised her car before physically attacking her in broad daylight,” he alleged.
“Why do these CCP supporters feel above the law?”

Police have released photos of three people they wish to speak to in regards to the alleged incident – two men and a woman.
One man was described as Asian in appearance with a heavy build, dark hair, and was wearing a black t-shirt and glasses.
The other man was described as Asian in appearance with a medium build, short dark hair, and was wearing a black hooded jumper.
The woman was described as Asian in appearance with a slim build, shoulder-length dark hair, and was wearing a black top, black puffer vest, black pants and glasses.
ACT Policing has urged anyone who could identify any of the three people, or who witnessed the alleged incident, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference 7234672.
