Adelaide Avenue hit and run

BINGO – Taxi today, 5:30PM, straight dual lane road [William Hovell Dr east bound], couldn’t keep his vehicle in the right hand lane and drifted over enough that I could have touched his mirror from my driver’s seat. How hard is it for [ethnic] drivers to keep their vehicle between the lane markers?? Lucky I noticed in time and veered left to avoid contact. He wasn’t on mobile phone, not playing with the meter or anything, just wandering all over the road like the steering wheel had come loose or something. Then sped up and continued to do what everyone else does and drive 20km/h over the roadwork speed limit…….

Don’t they already have them on the inside at the passengers? They need them also facing out, not only for case like this but also to stop taxi drivers from being such bell ends on the road.

Sorry, I thought you meant the ones on the inside. A camera on the bonnet I could maybe see, but 360* footage is a bit much to ask, I imagine. Never mind the storage space all that footage would require.

Regarding ethnics being bad drivers, I suggest you you tube (nasty stutter I have there) videos of traffic in India (or Finland or Luxembourg) so that ou can make your own mind up about that.
