These guys are the best – they’ve got a can-do attitude and they’re about great customer service rather than extracting as much money out of you as possible. Don’t bother with the others.
I saw this post the other week and listened to other Canberra’s advice and tried Aussie windscreens in Phillip and all i can say is they were amazing.
Friendly young blokes did it cheeper then all the other business i called and did it in no time at all and i can not fault the work at all. would go back there in a heartbeat.
+1 for Aussie windscreens in Woden. Got a quote for a Kia Rio from O’Brian’s, mid $400s for replacement. Quote from Aussie’s after seeing it on here, mid $200s. Called to cancel O’Brian’s and they ended up coming down to match the quote – but only after a lecture about avoiding ‘outfits operating out of the back of their cars’. Isn’t that exactly what they are doing? Aussie’s were quick, no hassle and affordable. Would happily recommend.

yep, me too. they were about half the price of the larger chains, and did a fast, professional job.
I just had Novus replace the one on my van and was pleasantly surprised at the price (<$300 all included). And they came out to my workplace within hours of my call and replaced it in the carpark.
I had one replaced at
Aussie Windscreens
22 Grenville Court, Phillip ACT 2606
(02) 6282 0066 ?
and would go back to them in a heartbeat. Professional, friendly and a good price. It was going to cost me more to fill a few stone chips with obrians than get the whole thing replaced with them.
Call Terry at Instant Windscreens, Geelong St Fyshwick
A few weeks ago I went to O’Brien Glass in Fyshwick to replace the front screen of my car (Has IR-transparent area and a rain-sensor).
Net result: They replaced the screen. It works.
If I had anything negative to say it’s that the screen needs a grease-cutting clean and coating with Rainex now (I’ll have to have to have a word with the chauffeur about that)!
We recently used O’ Briens. They were really helpful especially when we were 3 hours away from home. Came when they said, did the job. Was an insurance job on a leased car so no idea what it would actually have cost but was advised about $700 would probably have covered it. That was for a Golf.
O’Briens are usually dear. I’ve found Capital Windscreens in Queanbeyan to be reasonable.
Ive had a couple done by Instant Windscreens in Fyshwick with satisfactory results. Much cheaper than the big chains too. Both times I took my car to them rather than pay them to come to me.
