Police launch investigation after Goulburn woman feared man was following her

Police have commenced an investigation after a woman was followed by a man while out jogging in Goulburn yesterday.

About 4.20 pm on Monday (12 March), a woman was jogging along McDermott Drive and crossed the McDermott Drive bridge, when she noticed a man standing on the opposite side of the road watching her.

As she turned off the bridge onto a walking track, she noticed the man following her. The woman felt intimidated by his actions and made her way back to her residence and reported the man’s presence to police.

The area was patrolled but the man had left.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, and wearing a red shirt, light blue jeans, a dark cap, and white shoes.
