Hometown heroes Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are back from their industry-stopping appearance at BIGSOUND. They’ll be launching their latest single ‘See You In A Bit (I Still Care)’ at The Polo on Saturday night with friends Helena Pop, Charlotte & The Harlots and Paint Store. Be sure to jump on tickets early though. If TJJT’s recent packed-out sets are anything to go by, rocking up empty-handed might leave you disappointed.
The Polo is lighting up the night before as well, with part two of the Under The Yellow Lamp series seeing Kilroy, Slow Turismo, New Age Group and Cathy Diver putting their live sets to tape (well, wax).
Eurovision star Kate Miller-Heidke takes to the Canberra Theatre stage on Thursday night in what’s sure to be a gravity-defying performance. Across London Circuit, Powder Blue continue their residency at Transit Bar with a massive lineup featuring Like Foxes and the inescapable Paint Store.
Wednesday’s Crop Up Sessions throws up an eclectic lineup, straddling rock, indie pop and folk music. Be sure to get down early to catch singer-songwriter and Lady Denman member Jayne as she dives into a set of largely new material. Network at sideway the following night at the Music Industry Hookup and catch sets from Doppel, Slow Dial and Pheno.
