Where’s Wally? He’s here looking for a forever home!

Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ that are looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to our ‘Pets of the Week’ – Youngster Wally and handsome Roscoe!

Pup of the Week – Wally

Where is Wally you ask? Well, you’ll find him here at RSPCA ACT waiting to find his forever home. A young puppy, Wally is a little shy but certain to grow up into an adventurous explorer, just like his namesake. While he is the quietest of his four siblings, Wally loves warm snuggles and puppy kisses making him the cutest little pup on the block. Wally loves to play with his brothers and sisters in the yard and laze in the sun in his kennel during the day.

Due to the nature of his breed, Wally is going to be a high-energy dog meaning that his adopters will need to be prepared for play and exercise as part of his daily requirements. As Wally grows up – you’ll find him keeping fit and healthy beside his family, making him the perfect partner for your fitness routine.

Wally will suit a family with children six years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.

Handsome Roscoe is ready to find the one.

Cat of the Week – Roscoe

Meet the handsome and charming Roscoe! Roscoe made his way to the RSPCA ACT as a stray and is ready to find his purr-fect home. An affectionate and vocal cat, Roscoe will always make sure to let you know when he wants attention.

An avid explorer, Roscoe has an outgoing personality and loves to investigate and smell new environments. Roscoe’s new family will need to offer plenty of enrichment for his life including toys and a scratching post in his new home.

Catnip spray and hidden food will delight his senses and help Roscoe keep mentally and physically stimulated.

Roscoe could potentially live with older more sensible children, as long as they are calm and gentle, especially as he settles into his new home. Roscoe has been a bit unsure about other cats here at the Shelter, so if he were to go home with other felines, they would need to be cat-friendly and introductions would be slow and controlled. If you think that Roscoe could be the one for you, come say hello!
