Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Mate, Brulee and Ernie are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Mate

Mate is looking for his best mate.

When naming Mate, we couldn’t help but name him after his true nature. Mate is a loyal, loving and energetic dog. Though he might seem nervous when you first meet him, don’t let that fool you or turn you away. Once Mate is comfortable, he’ll open up and show you his playful, kind personality. Mate is an intelligent dog. He can sit, wait, shake and walks well on a lead. He’s selective around other dogs and would thrive as the only dog in a household.

Once Mate comes home with you, he will be the most content dog you have ever seen. When Mate has you, his special human, he will comfortably go with the flow as long as you are by his side.

If you would like to meet this special and very handsome boy, come on down to the shelter and arrange a meet and greet in one of our yards. Once you get to spend some time with him and allow him to feel comfortable, you won’t be able to resist his loving charm.

Brulee and Ernie

They want to hop into your life.

Rabbits of the Week – Brulee and Ernie

Why get chocolate for Easter when you can have bunnies?

Brulee and Ernie are a beautiful, quiet and affectionate bonded pair looking for their perfect home. They are always happy to see you and will happily hang around if pats and snacks are involved.

Contrary to popular belief, rabbits are very social creatures, they like being together and tend to get very bored when they’re living as solo pets. When rabbits come into our care and form a bond, we try our best not to break it, so we would love to see Brulee and Ernie adopted together.

Come and see us at the shelter if you would like to bring Brulee and Ernie into your world.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
