Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week, say hello to bachelorette Tashi and our local bachelor Marshall.
Cat of the Week – Tashi
Bachelorette Tashi is one stunning lady looking for her one and only! We know that someone is out there looking for a cat like her, so this is a public announcement that Tashi is here, ready and waiting.
Tashi is looking for a sort of open relationship with her new owner. She needs a home where she can come and go as she pleases, via a secure outdoor cat run or other containment area.
Tashi is searching for someone who can appreciate her strong-minded but affectionate, picky but easy-going behaviour.
Tashi has been known to call the shots in her relationships, but is open to a new significant other with a give and take dynamic.
Tashi likes: Wand toys, ‘me time’, junk food, spots to sun herself, a minion to serve her and tall thrones to observe her kingdom(s).
Her dislikes include: Overly touchy friendly people, dieting, other animals and extreme exercise.
Tashi’s strong personality isn’t for the faint-hearted, but we know her match is just waiting patiently for the one.
Come and give Tashi your rose, and your home, by visiting us at the Shelter.
Dog of the Week – Marshall
Endearing smile, delightful floppy ears and a lust for life. Sweet Marshall is looking for love.
He has plenty to offer, Marshall’s a very affectionate kind of guy who just absolutely loves his people. This handsome dog can light up a room, and loves to run and chase out in the yards like the true exercise enthusiast he is.
While Marshall doesn’t seem to understand toys, he would love to learn as he thoroughly enjoys a boisterous game in the afternoons.
Marshall is a whole lot of dog looking for the one where he will get daily walks, and allowed snoozy couch time.
Marshall wants the kind of love you find in movies, his favourites include Bolt, The Secret Life of Pets and Lady and the Tramp. Marshall would be open to meet his very own lady that he could share a strand of spaghetti with.
Likes: Lady doggo friends for play sessions, tasty treats, sun baking in his kennel.
Dislikes: broken tennis balls and uncomfy couches.
We recommend Marshall for a family with children 8 years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.
