Zsa Zsa is looking for a family to call her own.

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Zsa Zsa and Chevy are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Cat of the Week – Zsa Zsa

Zsa Zsa found herself at the RSPCA ACT due to her previous family owning too many cats! Zsa Zsa came into the Shelter with her friend Eva who has already found a forever home, so now its Zsa Zsa’s turn to find her perfect match.

This lovely lady is an affectionate, outgoing girl who finds the shelter a little nervy and intimidating. Zsa Zsa is looking for a new family that will accept her for the little diva she is. This cool cat loves to be the centre of attention, but also enjoys some ‘me time’ away from the spotlight. Patience will be required to ensure she settles in and finds the right vibe in her new home.

Zsa Zsa requires a house where she can be kept indoors to stay safe at all times. She’ll also benefit from having an older family (such as teens and adults) but could live with gentle and respectful children who understand her boundaries.

Sweet Zsa Zsa does suffer from a medical need regarding pain along her spine that can be discussed with staff prior to her adoption. Zsa Zsa cannot wait to meet her new family. So if you think she could be the perfect cat for you, come and say hello!

Chevy is one handsome boofhead boy! Think you’re his perfect match?

Dog of the Week – Chevy

Chevy has an award-winning smile that’s ready to charm his new forever family. This handsome boy has a boisterous and goofy personality and is looking for loved ones who will accept and love all of his kooks and quirks.

Chevy hasn’t had the easiest life and is working hard on his manners to ensure he’ll fit in to his new home. Chevy loves food and is perfecting some new tricks such as sit and drop. This daring guy has plenty of energy and will need an owner willing to take him walking daily to reach those steps! It is a breeze to get Chevy’s harness on and he is always eager to adventure outside his kennel.

Toys are sometimes fun for Chevy but he requires rules in place to manage his play time. Nothing gets Chevy more excited than a squeaky toy. You’ll delight in watching his head pause and tilt at the noise. Chevy is also a lady’s man and he would absolutely love the company of a friendly female dog in his new home.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
