Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Willow and MC are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Rabbits of the Week – Hazel and Fae

Hazel and Fae are two gorgeous brown bunnies who were surrendered to the shelter when their owner was no longer able to care for them. These cute bunnies are now looking to find a forever home together! Hazel and Fae are two young sisters who have a very special bond.

In their lives so far this dynamic duo haven’t been handled often or had much interaction with humans and would like to go to a home where they can be slowly offered a new way of life.

Hazel and Fae have taken some time to warm up to staff at the shelter and will need a quiet, rabbit savvy home where they will feel safe and loved. With plenty of patience and TLC these bunnies will settle in and become an important part of the family.

These bunnies will love a large enclosure with plenty of enrichment activities. Hazel and Fae are really liking their treats and toys in their current home and would love to receive the same in their next spot.

Sweet Hanni is looking for the perfect family to call his own.

Dog of the Week – Hannibal

Sweet Hannibal (or Hanni for short) is a happy-go-lucky type. This giant boy has a great attitude to life and in most situations is confident and relaxed. When Hannibal is calm and settled he just wants to be with his people! Snuggling on the couch or playing in the backyard will be the dream life for this handsome boy.

Hannibal loves a lot of things on the daily. This boy is definitely an active pooch and enjoys spending his time with our volunteers walking and exercising out in the yard. Hanni likes other dogs, playing with toys and just hanging out.

Unfortunately Hannibal likes rabbits a little too much, so he isn’t suited to a life with smaller pets. Hanni is looking for a strong family ready to exercise him regularly and feed him well to ensure he stays mentally and physically healthy for the rest of his life.

Hanni hopes he will soon find a forever family to call his own. There’s nothing more in life that he wants than the love of friendly people ready to give him the world.
