- ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a burglary which occurred at a warehouse in Fyshwick early January 19.
Around 3.15am the Mildura Street warehouse was broken into and a large volume of property was stolen. Offender(s) gained access to the site via nearby gates.
The items stolen include twelve 52-inch Sony colour televisions, 24 boxes of Sheridan bed sheets and 20 boxes of assorted chewing gum and mints.
Police conducted a search of the area and a door knock of nearby premises but could not locate the offender(s).
AFP Forensic Services attended the business premises and conducted investigations.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious persons or large vehicles or activity in the area of Mildura Street, Fyshwick, early today to contact Crime Stoppers.
Police remind people that receiving stolen property is a serious criminal offence. Anyone offered these items for sale should contact Crime Stoppers. Information can be provided to Crime Stoppers anonymously.
