Peaches is looking for her forever home!

Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ that are looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to sweet Daisy and chatty Peaches!

Cat of the Week – Peaches

Sweet as Peaches, this lovely girl made her way to our Shelter late last month due to her previous owners being unable to provide necessary vet treatment. Peaches has a painful abscess on her face, which required some surgery to remove and free her from pain.

Now that Peaches has recovered, she’s in need of a family that can treat her like true royalty. Peaches’ lovely pale skin means that she will need an indoor home to protect her from the sun.

Previously Peaches has lived in a home with adults only. However, she could find love with older teenagers or mature children based on interactions here at the Shelter.

Peaches would selfishly prefer to be the only cat in your life, she loves to snuggle up and will be the perfect feet warmer for the coming winter months.

She’s sweet as peaches, and if you’re on the lookout for a new feline friend come visit her at our Shelter today.

Pointy-eared Daisy is looking for a forever family.

Dog of the Week – Daisy

Darling Daisy is a sweet young girl who loves her daily walks and playing games with tennis balls. Daisy was found at the start of March wandering as a stray and after some time at our Shelter, she’s ready to find herself a new home!

Daisy gets on well with other dogs, although her play style at times can get a little rough. This daring girl loves to run in the yards chasing tennis balls and zooming about.

During morning feed time at the Shelter, you’ll often find Daisy patiently waiting at the front of her kennel for her breakfast, which is usually gone in no time. She’s a sucker for treats which means that teaching her new tricks could be a breeze.

Daisy is on the lookout to find a relaxed family that she can share life and the couch with (butt scratches must be included). Her new family will be willing to spend lots of time and love to make her feel at home.

We recommend Daisy for a family with children eight years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.
