Dog of the Week Maisey is ready to find her forever home.

Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ that are looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to our ‘Pets of the Week’ – Sweetheart Maisey and the affectionate Misty!

Dog of the Week – Maisey

Maisey is a sweet three-year-old girl ready and waiting to find her brand new home. Unfortunately, Maisey has had a tough start to life leading her to be under-confident about a lot of things in her world. Despite this rough patch, Maisey is extremely ready to learn how to snuggle, find love and move to her forever home.

Maisey has a happy attitude to life; her wide smile is sure to brighten up your day and with plenty of time and love dedicated to her, she will flourish and reach her full potential in her new home.

Maisey enjoys her daily walks, so as her new owner it will be up to you to continue her exercise regime, ensuring that she keeps fit and healthy.

We recommend that Maisey will suit a family with children 10 years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.

If you’re looking for some love in your life, look no further. Maisey is the one for you.

Affectionate Misty cannot wait to find her new loving family.

Cat of the Week – Misty

Meet the lovely Misty! Misty came to us at the Shelter through no fault of her own and is ready to find a home that lasts her lifetime. She is a sweet and affectionate cat who can sometimes get a little frustrated with things she doesn’t understand… like toys.

Misty has shown a great interest in toys while in our care, but does not really know what to do with them! Misty will need a family that can be patient with her, and help her to cope with this frustration by teaching her all about toys and how to play with them.

Misty’s new home would preferably be one that can provide a secure and contained outdoor area, such as a cat run, as this will also help in providing her with enrichment.

Misty will suit a home with experienced cat owners, who have the time, patience, gentleness and love to ensure that she feels comfortable settling in to her new home.

We recommend that Misty be in a home with adults only, and no other animals. If you think you have the love she deserves, come in and meet her at our Shelter.
