Goulburn man stabbed three times, woman in custody

A Goulburn woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a man three times.

Police say they were called to a home on Caoura Crescent, Goulburn, at about 4 pm yesterday (June 23).

“Officers attended and located a 39-year-old man with three puncture wounds to his neck,” police report.

The man was taken to Goulburn Hospital for treatment following significant bleeding. “He was subsequently airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical but stable condition.”

A 33-year-old woman, known to the man, was arrested at the scene. She was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court today (June 24).
